It’s a Fine Time to Fix It!
Do you see the opportunity?
Have you acknowledged the opportunity?
Great! Now, it is time for preparation to address the opportunity. It’s a fine time to fix it! Contrary to the way we have been taught or trained, it is our responsibility.

“I suppose it is tempting, if the only tool you have is a hammer, to treat everything as if it were a nail.” ― Abraham Maslow
Personally, I remember going through what I call “health awareness”. I was aware of my health opportunities. I knew that the center of my perceived problem was my weight. I was fully aware that if I wanted to be better or do better, I would have to set my mind to change my lifestyle completely. This thing was a journey for me, not just a diet. I was able to logically deduct that if I did not make a permanent lifestyle change, then I would simply rotate in another crazed cycle.
With self-regulated determination, I had to formulate a plan that would fit me and my needs. I had to return to a creative mentality and produce tangible results. My mind knew I could do it. However, my heart was wondering if I could maintain it. Knowing my faults helps me to realize my strengths.
With respectful hilarity, we often assume that opportunities will provide an automated fix for us. Most of us are covered by leadership with the expectation "any Sunday now". We look for emotional injections, aka spiritual signs, that it is going to work out now (depending on how much money we sow). As I continued to mature, I learned one lesson with surety. No one is going to do for you what you have been equipped to do for yourself! Not with longevity.

“The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson
Operate from of a space of freedom! This allows you to address those things you would love to ignore. Sometimes that means you must fix relationships you no longer care for or that no longer care for you. The resolution does not equate to placing ourselves in harm's way but it does allow the choice not to be an enemy and to live in peace.
We will never be able to control what others think about us. Albeit you can control yourself. Choose to forgive and not carry the weight of what someone has done to you. Fix things in your heart. Fix things in your mind. Fix things in your soul. Fix things in your spirit. Fix things in your body. Right now is a fine time!
